Hi, I only discovered that I could paint 4 years ago. I have always been creative, doing flower arranging, designing and making jewellery. Then I had an intuitive desire to paint, so I bought some acrylics, went to a class and I was on my way. Since then I have painted landscapes, seascapes, and still life. Landscapes and seascapes are my favourite, but I find my style is gravitating to inspiration from the Impressionists. Living in Cornwall surrounded by stunning countryside and, of course, the sea, gives me plenty of scope for ideas.

I am Marilyn, although most people call me Maz, I became a designer with wasc near enough from the start.I have always written poetry, since I was 8 or 9 years old writing for family and friends. Later in life I added a few designs, framed my poetry and started selling them. I have also written for Blue Mountain Arts an American greeting card company. I have worked as a manager in various greeting card shops. Sometimes writing personal requests for the customers if they couldn't find a verse or card they liked in the shop. I ended up writing upon request. Then in 2009 I lost my 18 year old son Ryan to brain cancer. He loved to help people,so to keep his memory alive I founded Angel Children along with my daughter Gemma,it is a not for profit organisation where we purchase and supply free of charge, headstones, give financial help and comfort gifts to parents who have lost their children. Funds permitting of course. I joined we all send cards as a way to help me raise much needed funds. As each time one of my cards gets sold 100% of all profits earned goes direct to Angel Children. I create various cards although I started off mainly designing memorial cards. But now I have designed many greeting cards for all occasions. Various people who know me often ask if I can design a personal card especially for them, which I can and do, do, We all send cards enables me to do this and prints my cards for me,that I then give to my customers.

Amount to good causes per card purchased: 25p

I will give 25p of all card sales to Angel Children which is my non profit organisation, this will help me with funding for the headstones and comfort gifts I supply free of charge to bereaved parents and families. ALL Dog and Cat Rescue (ADCR)

ALL Dog and Cat Rescue (ADCR)

ALL Dog Rescue was established in February 2015 by Amanda Hawkins and Lorraine Thistlethwaite; a group of animal lovers who initially joined forces to help dogs in need. The rescue was formed with the intention of saving dogs who are offered as "free to good home" to avoid these dogs ending up in abusive living situations such as dog fighting rings, being used as bait dogs and also being used as breeding machines for backyard breeders. This has not strictly gone to plan and the founders have since decided they will assist with helping any dog that is in need when they have the resources available to do so. In the Summer of 2015 ALL Dog Rescue became ALL Dog & Cat Rescue (ADCR) and we now save the lives of abandoned and abused cats. Animals in our care are neutered, receive all necessary veterinary care and treatment and are placed in loving foster homes while they wait patiently for their new home. We assist dogs and cats that require help or are in need to the best that our finances allow.

Artcards by Matthew Evans

Artcards by Matthew Evans

Matthew David Evans I was born in 1968 and live in Brighouse, West Yorkshire. I discovered an early flair for art, initially taking inspiration from local surroundings with a preference for buildings and landscapes. Graduating from Leicester Polytechnic BA (Hons) Graphic Design in 1989, I worked for Hallmark Cards, Bradford for twenty one years but now work in Customer Services. Alongside this role my reputation as an artist continued to grow exhibiting in numerous local shows, some nationals and the international “Europastel” Exhibition in Italy and Russia 2002. I have produced many commissions for private buyers with favourite themes being house “portraits”. In 1996 I won the Townscape and Landscape category in the Society of all Artists “Open Painting Competition”. I have really enjoyed my career as an artist so far and have met many inspirational people throughout my involvement in various local Art Societies. I am a former President of the Huddersfield Art Society and current Vice President.Sales of my work have also helped various charities. At the moment I am very excited about future possibilities as the list of galleries accepting my work grows. I was delighted recently to be awarded “Best in Show” for a mixed media piece “Sunburst” at the inaugural West Yorkshire Open Art Competition held at Hipperholme Grammar School 2009. I am constantly finding new inspiration, particularly in subjects rich in colour, light and texture. Favourite themes have ranged from atmospheric sunsets to bright floral scenes. I am currently producing many small experimental and spontaneous works in oil, pastel and watercolour. I am particularly happy to have a proposal accepted to show local scenes at a major local gallery in late 2011. I am sure that the beautiful scenes of Yorkshire will provide inspiration for many years and hopefully the best is yet to come. Until 2016 I have continued to love sharing my art with others both in live shows and on the internet .I particularly enjoy the direct response when posting new works onto my Facebook page and various Facebook groups of which I am a member. I am now enjoying learning from previous work and using all these experiences to plan my next move forward with all the great support I am receiving.

Art By Three

We are Art By Three or Rachel, Rebekah and Sarah, triplets aged 19. We started painting at age 11 and quickly realised we not only had our own style but could adapt it to work together on one piece of art, each giving advice and opinions to our sisters. We also paint separately but find we are at our best when painting together....6 hands instead of 2! We particularly enjoy painting animals, urban scenes and landscapes but will have a go at painting or drawing anything and we have undertaken numerous commissions for customers of both their pets and family amongst other things. We started with watercolours but now enjoy using acrylics, oils or just a pencil. In 2016 we entered Sky Landscape Artist of the Year as Wildcards and there was a lot of interest in our work. You may have seen us on TV!! We are now proud to be part of this growing company selling cards printed with our artwork. We take great pride in our work painting subjects or places we love. We hope you like our cards, there is something for every occasion and every taste!

Constructing distinctively colourful characters out of situations when he finds himself in some sort of special moment, his painting style is rather personal and unique, modern, though occasionally toned neoclassical, he expects the viewer to appreciate the outcome of his work and continue to enjoy it as it is observed in the same way he did when creating it. You can find out more and buy his paintings at antoniopozo.com

Intuitive Oils

Intuitive Oils

I am based in Kingston-upon- Thames in South West London. I work in a spontaneous style and find that this is a creative outlet for me to express myself and to help me relax. This is truly beneficial as I have a very active and often self-critical mind due to my ADHD. My style and approach to the way I now paint developed as I discovered I was experiencing problems with reading text. My books have now been given away, and painting has become a positive and important part of my day-to-day life. I gain pleasure in the different ways people of all ages react to my work and the way they see things in my paintings that are important to them. My works are untitled until you give them a title, whatever they inspire in you. The choice is yours! My website is www.intuitiveoils.co.uk

My style of artwork has developed over the years from simply observing everything around me (or maybe I'm just nosey!). I love the colour and detail in traditional children's illustrations and I like to give everything a life of its own with a little bit of a twist. So, if you have fun looking into the detail of my images, and they make you smile, then I've achieved what I set out to do. I grew up in the west of London, but now spend my life in the fresh air of the south coast on the edge of the New Forest, overlooking the Solent.

Andrew Alan Art

Andrew Alan Art

My name is Andrew Alan Johnson and I am a new, refreshing artist selling my original luxury artworks. As an exciting breakthrough artist my work is fast becoming the wise investment choice for art lovers worldwide. Welcome to Andrew Alan Art. My unique style of painting is changing the way people think about acrylic paints. I use thick paints mainly that give the look of oils yet acrylics have enough versatility to be diluted like watercolours. I abandoned the world of Graphic Design to focus on painting. In particular I paint wild flowers and all kinds of floral pieces, but I also like to produce landscapes and forest art. I use mainly acrylics and I relish applying the paint in thick layers and manipulating it on the board or canvas. Another string to my bow is my illustration skill set. I am a qualified animator, having a degree from Duncan of Jordanstone college of art in Dundee and I have illustrated children's books too.

Fastminds is a user-led community Adult ADHD support group where adults can find out more about themselves in a safe environment. Members can also be referred direct to our local ADHD Services for an assessment. Members have reported that the group is particularly beneficial as it combats isolation as these condition are so often misunderstood. We held our first Fastminds Neurodiverse Arts Festival earlier this year at the Kingsgate Church Kingston-upon-Thames to spread much needed awareness of Neurodiversity in all its forms and to celebrate the achievements of people with these conditions. We sold some of our art there to raise much needed funds to keep our group going. We hope to raise enough money to hold another festival next year.
