Fastminds is a user-led community ADHD support group for adults.

We offer a safe and supportive environment for people living with both diagnosed and undiagnosed ADHD and comorbid disorders to come together. We also offer direct referral to our local ADHD and ASD services and support our members through the assessment process and beyond. We meet in a relaxed, welcoming, non-judgmental, inclusive support group once a week where we break down isolation by sharing our experiences, hopes and fears.

We also support each other to recognize our strengths and abilities. Members have reported that the group is particularly beneficial as it combats isolation as these conditions are so often misunderstood. We held our first Fastminds Neurodiverse Arts Festival earlier this year at the Kingsgate Church Kingston-upon-Thames to spread much needed awareness of Neurodiversity in all its forms and to celebrate the achievements of people living with neurological differences and mental health challenges.

We sold some of our art there to raise much needed funds to keep our group going. We hope to raise enough money to hold another festival next year.

Princess Alice Hospice

Many people think that hospices are all about dying. We disagree. We believe that end of life care is about helping people live every moment to the full in comfort and dignity. It’s about creating a space whether in our Hospice or at home where families can enjoy special moments and create precious memories together.

Princess Alice Hospice provides a comprehensive range of services that respond to the individual needs of patients and their families, so that they can live life to the full, create memories, share special moments and when the time comes, support them through, before and after the death of a loved one.
