With the daily increase in the number of positive tests, and experts revealing that the number of daily infections could be as high as 45,000 and this could have a potential impact on delivery of items. Up until today our print team have been working hard, and over 99.5% of items have been despatched on time, and the remainder the following day. We however have noticed that Royal Mail seem to be delivering items on occasion, slower than they would normally. All of our greeting cards and standard prints are sent Royal Mail First Class unless you ask us to send them DPD courier.
Royal mail aim to deliver their first class items the next working day including Saturdays, but are asking the public and businesses to wait ten working days before reporting an item as lost. Royal Mail do not guarantee the time or date of arrival for First Class post, and thus we cannot do so either. We can however send items via DPD courier at a cost of £10, for delivery the next day.
If we do not despatch a greeting card or standard print within one working day of when we say we will, we will offer a full refund. With regards to Royal Mail delivery, we estimate that 9 out of 10 items are still arriving the next day, but we urge you to allow more time. We are the same as you when it comes to using Royal Mail – when we put an item in the post box, we have no further control of when an item might arrive, and cannot take responsibility for the time they take to deliver an item, although if the item has not arrived within 10 working days (UK) or 30 working days (International) we will treat it as lost. If you wish for us to send your greeting card order or standard print order via DPD, please place your order as normal, and then let us know by emailing us at talK@wellsendcards.com before 1pm of the day of despatch. We will send you an invoice for the difference in cost by email.
